Dr. George Charitoudis is a graduate of the medical school of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received his specialization and completed his Ph.D -with the topic “Circulating tumor cells in the bloodstream of patients with uveal melanoma before and after treatment and risk of metastasis” - at the ophthalmological clinic of Charité, University of Medicine, Campus Benjamin Franklin, in Berlin. Dr Charitoudis has gained a broad clinical background at the clinic “Augenärzte am Aegi“ in Hannover, Germany. He is also certified by the European council of ophthalmology (Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology, FEBO).
Being highly experienced in all aspects of contemporary ophthalmology the surgeon-ophthalmologist Dr George St. Charitoudis provides specialized ophthalmological services in Thessaloniki. In collaboration with private medical clinics, the doctor deals surgically with any ophthalmological problem that may arise by applying the most effective and up-to-date techniques in his field.
